I must admit that its been a few years since I have had the time and energy to get out and enjoy the great outdoors! September has typically been a busy month for us with school starting, harvesting the garden, and heading to the Rockin Moms retreat--but this year things worked out to make it possible to slow down and enjoy the trees and foliage changing colors.
I was able to go cool weather camping with Megan in early September which was a huge blessing for us both with its slower pace and time to just talk. One of the things we did was to hike a route that took us on all the nature trails that exist at St. Malo Provincial Park. I definitely want to do another camping weekend like this with Megan again!
Just so you can enjoy, I am going to include a smattering of the awesome fall foliage and the spectacular beauty of nature we saw while there!

So beautiful! On our nature walk yesterday I found a tree with leaves that had turned a purplish black! Absolutely stunning in colour! Especially among the golds, oranges, reds, and greens around it!
