Time has gotten away from me, and I haven't finished sharing with you all the tasty fall goodies that I made with all the apples that my mom gave me! Today's recipe is a simple yet classic dessert, which is such a comfort food when served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
-10 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced
-1 cup white sugar
-1 tablespoon Bob's Red Mill Cup for Cup gluten free flour
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/2 cup water
-1 cup gluten free oats
-1 cup Bob's Red Mill Cup for Cup gluten free flour
-1 cup packed brown sugar
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 cup butter, melted

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2) Place sliced apples in a 9 x 13 pan (or two 8 x 8 pans).
3) Mix the white sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and ground cinnamon together and sprinkle over apples. Pour water evenly over all.
4) Combine the oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.
5) Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
